I’ve decided to take a break from selling cameras on platforms like eBay and Ricardo — perhaps temporarily, maybe even permanently. There are several reasons behind this decision.
First, my priorities have shifted a bit, especially work-wise, and I no longer have the time and energy to manage conversions, searching and buying models, listings, shipping, and support as I used to.
Second — and just as important — the profit margins have become too small to justify the effort. Platform fees are high, currency exchange rates are unfavourable, and international selling is more hassle than it used to be.
Third, I’ve noticed a clear drop in demand: fewer people are willing to invest in specialised camera gear at the moment.
And finally — maybe the most personal reason — I want to spend more time photographing again. That’s how all of this started, and I miss that creative part of the process.
I’ll still be listing a few final models. After that, I’ll offer cameras only on request, directly via this website.
