My photographs show real landscapes in Switzerland. I haven’t added or retouched anything. Yet the scenes are immersed in a strange light: infrared. It’s part of the light spectrum that humans cannot see. I use it as a form of concealment — a stylistic device to spark the viewer’s imagination while allowing them to discover the places with their own eyes.
I’ve named the project Hidden Realms, which now comprises several hundred photographs. A selection is shown in the Gallery. In the Blog, I write occasionally in English about news, technical aspects, and sources of inspiration. Meine Fotografien zeigen echte Landschaften in der Schweiz. Ich habe nichts hinzugefügt oder retuschiert. Jedoch sind die Szenen in ein fremdes Licht getaucht: Infrarot. Es ist ein Teil des Lichtspektrums, den der Mensch nicht sehen kann. Es ist eine Verschleierungstaktik von mir, ein Stilmittel, um die Fantasie des Betrachters anzuregen und ihm zugleich zu ermöglichen, die Orte mit eigenen Augen zu entdecken.
Ich habe das Projekt Hidden Realms genannt – versteckte Gebiete. Es umfasst inzwischen mehrere Hundert Fotos. Eine Auswahl wird in der Gallery gezeigt. Im Blog schreibe ich in Englisch sporadisch über Neuigkeiten, technische Aspekte sowie Inspirationen.
