For me, midday is the best time of the day. Ideally, it’s on a day off—after a good night’s sleep—when you’re rested but still have plenty of the day ahead of you.
Today wasn’t quite that. Work called. Still, I managed to carve out a bit of time around noon for a quick photo walk through the neighborhood.
I brought along my “perfect pink” infrared filter combo. It’s based on this setup, but refined—yellows and reds come through much more naturally, and the sky shifts toward a deeper, cleaner blue. I’m really happy with how it renders the colors.
And pardon the pun, but I think it looks a lot better than the Kolari Candy Chrome filter.
