Pastel Dreams in IR

I’ve been exploring the brighter, more uniform IR false color styles a bit more lately and found some interesting ones. Personally, I prefer darker tones with more variation, but it seems that many infrared photography enthusiasts lean toward the classic, bright, and more uniform looks. I’m okay with that.

Here’s one called “Pastel Blue,” which uses a DB850 filter along with a Rosco gel—something with “Mayan” in the name, though I can’t quite remember the exact one. Maybe Mayan Gold or Mayan Red. This was shot with a Nikon D60 and a 40mm lens.

I’m currently offering the set on eBay, just like this, featuring Blue along with four additional pastel tones.
