It’s always nice to see infrared scenes used creatively in cinema — and the teaser for ARCHITECTON, directed by Victor Kossakovsky, taps into that magic. The imagery leans into deep near-infrared, likely around 800nm+, creating a dramatic, high-contrast look where vegetation lights up, the skies darken, and man-made structures take on a ghostlike clarity.
Personally, I’d love to see more filmmakers experiment with custom false-color IR — filters that shift the world in even more unexpected ways.
